There was another Sister called Katie who was very small . I don't remember seeing her.

My mother honour Grady had two sisters Ann & molly Grady who were brought up by the mackintosh family.they attended Roy bridge primary were Mary macintosh was the teacher. They went to live with the family early 1930,s. If anyone has any information photographs my mother who is 83 butcan remember it like yesterday as she would visit her sisters please could you share them .

I vaguely remember Molly Grady. She went to live in Ireland I think. Sorry,I can't remember anymore. I was born in 1937 so she was quite a bit older than me. There was a girl called Angela Simpson stayed at Stronlossit in my school days.

yes Mary, Molly did go to live in Ireland. would love to find a photograph of Molly and Ann Grady or any photographs of the Macintosh family who they lived with in Stronlossit.

i never saw Donaldy the tailor at this age. He used to get us to buy lemonade and candles for him on our way home from school. He used candles as firelighters. He seemed very old then, but didn't everybody!
