David MacLachlan . My Great Grandfather

Dodo Parry reckons this is Dolan MacDonald as David had retired from shepherding by 1950. He agrees it is Achavaddy (from the Gaelic word meaning “field of the wolves”).

Don’t think the date 1950 is correct….think Achavaddy was in ruins when I was young

When someone puts a Photo on the Website with no Date , I have to Guess a Date and Happy to update the Date when someone gives it to me even if it may not be 100% Accurate
