Brae Lochaber Camanachd Cup Losing DISTRICT Semi Finalists 1925 . Kyles lost in the Semis 3 - 2 to Inveraray , In the other semi final Lovat beat Stratherrick 2 - 1 and in the Final Inveraray Beat Lovat 2 - 0 at Inverness
The first Game against Kyles of Bute had been drawn. The replay was at Cardonald, Glasgow when Kyles won 3-1. This photo was taken before the replay.

Brae Lochaber I believe only contested 1 Camanachd Cup Final in 1897 see - www.roybridge.net Shinty Page , My Guess is this was a 1924 photo of a possible semi final ? As Kyles beat Newtonmore in the 1924 Final 2 - 1 , I am ruling out A Sutherland Cup Final as that competition is for Junior Teams and if I am not mistaken ? Brae Lochaber were a Senior Team

Another great photo from Mary. Knew you would like this one Peter!!! The MacGregor boys are my Grandfather and brothers. Jimmie MacGregor is the father of Tommy MacGregor, another well known Lochaber player. Can you see the likeness of Angus MacIntosh to his sons Kenny and Tom from Spean?

Brae Lochaber played Beauly in the 1897 Camanachd Cup Final Beauly won 5 - 0 , Spean Bridge played Inveraray in the 1926 Camanachd Cup Final Inveraray 3 Spean Bridge 2

I still can not find any reference of Brae Lochaber playing Kyles in any Final , especially 1926 , So the Mystery continues

Mystery Solved - Camanachd Cup DISTRICT Semi Final 1925 at Cardonald. Brae Lochaber v Kyles 2-2 after extra time. Beaten in replay.
