This is my great. Aunt lexi.. We used to spend the summer holidays at inverlair... Helping to bring in the hay and in the evening we would she'll peas and topand tail blackcurrants.. It was fun going up to bed by candlelight until we reached the top where there was a scary goats head which I believe is in the museum in fort William along with other items such as her spinning wheel. Lexi was a really kind person and would never let a tramp go by without giving him a meal and a pair of home knitted socks..

I believe that Lexie and Sandy were Sister and Brother. Could someone confirm?

I Think Lexie originally came from Achnacarry , She moved to Inverlair as Sandys Housekeeper when he retired and then on to Keppoch , I dont think they were related ?

What was the connection with your aunt, Kitty? I'd love to hear more from you! My name is Nicole Parker, nee Sharp. My mum is Jean Campbell Sharp who has commented above. So Lexie is my great, great aunt! I loved hearing about her and always wondered what happened to the spinning wheel! If you can tell us anything else I would love to hear from you nicolesharp9@googlemail.com
