Kilmonivaig School 1950
Kilmonivaig became a JS School in first year of the 11+. This is the first school picture after that event, hence the mixture of RB & SB school pupils.

Love that photo Mary . Miss MacDougall was still teaching in Speanbridge when I went to the Junior Secondary, she took us for Music . Nice to see Jessie Cameron , and Joe Smith , you would recognise him easily, he has hardly changed !!!

I have had a phone call from Mary Kennedy, & Benny Dignan & Johnny Cullivan gave me a quick call yesterday when they were in Spean for the Achnacarry speed march....seeing them both was a real a real blast from the past.

Mary - Thanks for your kind words but it is people like yourself that take the time to contribute that are making it so popular , The fact that anyone can add ther own photograph or comments with ease means I only have to check any content before publishing it , I am delighted how well it is going and love seeing photos from the past

The Archie Boyle in the front row....Is he from Bohuntine? if so,i am his Nephew,i am the son of Tommy John Boyle his brother.
