I think 3rd from left is Marie MacLean?
Added by Sheena Smith (Gall) on 31 January 2011
Hi Sheena , How are you , I am pretty sure 3rd from left is Linda Grieve , where I have put Marie MacLean , I think it could actually be Sheena MacLachlan's younger sister Moira.
Added by Christine Gow on 31 January 2011
Hi everybody, I was wondering if 3rd from right was Marie MacLean? Were any of Dan MacDonalds Girls , Fiona or her older sister ( cannot remember her name) in that age group ?
Added by Sally MacKenzie on 31 January 2011
I should have written 3rd from right not left is Marie MacLean, sorry about that confussion...( MacLean's Roy Bridge Hotel ) I think 2nd from right could be the older MacDonald girl, I can't remember her name either.
Added by Sheena Smith (Gall) on 31 January 2011
I think 4th from Left is Mhairi MacDonald and the other 2 is Mhairi MacLean and Alison MacDonald !!!
Added by Kristeen Gall on 31 January 2011

Think you are right Kristeen , do you think that the girl at the back , 3rd from right , could be Meggie Keenan ?
Added by Sally MacKenzie on 01 February 2011
Hi Sally & Peter....no it is not Meggie as this girl looks older than me and Meggie is younger than me...I dont recall Meggie going to dancing! Peter I dont think Ellen or Margaret Rose are in it either...My Mum has this photo I am sure and the names are written on the back, so will have to look into it or it is going to drive us all crazy!!

Thats the beauty of photos , How your memory plays up and in later life how you see someone looking like a Brother or Sister and not who you thought , Site only being going a week and people disputing who is who , Thats part of the fun and what makes the website so interesting

Just spoke to my sister Anne she is going to have a look at the photo and see if she can remember....Sally she says to ask Frank whose pudding bowl did he use when he cut her hair...if she had seen this photo before last Saturday she would have given him a kick up the bahooky at the wedding for giving her that bonny cut!!! Ha Ha

Could the girl 3rd from right in back row be June Patterson from Spean
Added by Sally MacKenzie on 01 February 2011
And venue...I think it was either Spean School or Invergarry Hall ?
Anonymous comment added on 01 February 2011
Venue was Inverlochy Hall and the 2 girls at the bottom right we are sure are Mairi MacLean Inveroy and Alison MacDonald Bunroy or her sister who I think was Mairi as well and the wee one on bottom left is Mairi MacLean Roy Hotel !
Added by Kristeen Gall on 02 February 2011
4th from left bottom row I think is Jane Addison from Brae Roy (she was killed very young), ring any bells??
Added by Sheena Smith (Gall) on 04 February 2011
I remember Jane Addison, Sheena. She was killed in an accident when thrown from a horse. Cannot remember what she looked like though, you will prob be right. We will get this photo worked out one of these days.

Thanks to Anne Toal from Spean-Bridge for letting me know that the girl 3rd from right at the back of pic is Marion Fraser!! Marions father was William Fraser, the headmaster of Kilmonivaig School. That must be nearly everyone in the photo accounted for now. Hooray....

Liesje , I was same year as you in Hgh School & remember you on the School Bus , I have corrected the spelling of your name on photo , I never realised that is how your name is spelt as I allways called you Lisa
Added by Peter Gow on 23 February 2011
Its the Dutch spelling , Peter. Been the bane of my life! , Most people call me Lisa now . I remember you from the School Bus too!
Added by Liesje Wood (nee MacFarlane) on 23 February 2011
Great website - having fun looking at the pictures. Second from the right front row is not me - think it's Mhairi though.
Added by Alison Macdonald on 10 April 2011
I could be wrong but I think fourth from left is my sister Catherine McLaughlan. Moira would be too young in 1967, she had curls whereas Catherine’s hair was really straight and she was Linda Grieves friend.
