I think although my memory is failing, that the second lady on the left is my mother's cousin Jessie MacDonald, who died in 1953 , She lived with her Sister Maggie MacDonell in the house next to Jimmy Bohenie and were known as Big Jessie and Wee Maggie ( Clocle )

The two Women on the left are:-
Far left - Isa MacDonald, wife of Jack MacDonald, eldest son of Donald Ban MacDonald, Uncle to Jimmie Bohenie. Donald Ban had firstly Spean Bridge Hotel, then swopped with the MacDonell's for Roy Bridge hotel Jack was later curator of the West Highland Museum.
2nd from left is Jack's sister Agnes, commonly referred to as Bunny.Bunny was married in 1923 to John MacDonald, RSM with the Seaforth Highlanders.
Another sister Margaret Mary (Daisy) married Peter MacFarlane, Spean Bridge

Correction to my previous comment. Donald Ban MacDonald was not Jimmie Bohenie's brother, but his Uncle.

My Dad looked this photo and recognised the two women as Maggie and sister Jessie as stated by Nicola.

Was the Jessie MacDonald referred to, at one time of Woodend? If so her father was Ronald MacDonald and his father John MacDonald who drowned in the river Spean in 1860 and uwhose headstone found in recent years now lies face up in Cille choirill close to my grandmother Mary Logan's grave. . Jessie's father was a half brother to my great grandmother Kate MacDonald.

Jessie was the daughter of Ronald MacDonald and the granddaughter of John who drowned in the Spean. Jessie, mother was from Kintail and MAY HAVE met Ronald when he was working with the Mackintoshes, relatives at Sheilbridge inn.. Ronald returned to Bunroy with the baby which was baptised by Rev. Forbes in the chapel and was brought up by her aunt, Margaret Macdonald at Bunroy at Woodend. Jessie was known as Jessie Woodend or by the Gaelic speakers as Sessaidh Ceann ca Choille.

I would like to interfere with this debate by going back to my comments of Jan 2012 when I identified the two women as Isa MacDonald and Agnes MacDonald. Isa's husband Jack was a 1st cousin of Jimmy Bohenie and Agnes was Jack's sister. My justification in persisting with these ID's is as follows.
1. I have this original photo from the son of Isa who wrote on the back who the two Women were.
2. I have another photo from Isa's son showing Isa,her husband Jack and his sister Agnes taken during this trip outside Jack's house in Belford Road, again written on the back was "Mum, Dad and Aunt Bunny (Agnes)"
3. I also have a copy of Isa's memorial card with her photo on it, clearly the woman on the far left at Bohenie.
4. I also had Isa and Agnes identified by their niece and nephew, Donald MacFarlane and Margaret (MacFarlane) Zoetmulder.
4. I will gladly send these additional pictures to anyone who wishes them.
